| Description | Incorporated by Act of Parliament in 1845 as the Glossop Gas Co. the undertaking built its works on Arundel St in Glossop. It extended its area of supply in 1855 and in 1879. Additional lands for works were acquired at Bow Carr. In 1949 it became part of the North Cheshire Group of the NWGB. NO RECORDS |
