Title	SANDBACH GAS COMPANY
Description	Formed by Deed of Settlement in 1847 the Sandbach Gas Light and Coke Co was registered and incorporated in 1856. It applied for an Act of Parliament and became reincorporated as the Sandbach Gas Co in 1884. The works were near Union St at Brick Kiln Lane. The area of supply included Bradwall, Wheelock, Betchton, Hassall and parts of the parish of Warmingham. In 1949 it became part of the Mid-Cheshire Group of the NWGB. There are only ten items in this collection. They include a small number of annual reports, records of buildings and plant, loose financial accounts, share records and an employee register.
