Title
The Technology of Large Boiler Firing Using Interuptible Supplies of Gas.
Description
A substantial amount of natural gas is available in the United Kingdom for supply to industrial customers on an interuptible basis, according to which gas is used for most of the year but may, if necessary, shut off for short periods when a syandby fuel is ised. The sale of interuptible gas offers the gas industry a means of compensating for the temperature sensitivity of its demand pattern and matching this to the supply available from the North Sea.
