Title	SEDBERGH NEW GAS COMPANY LTD.
Description	The first gas undertaking was the Sedbergh Gas and Coke Co formed in 1850's. Financial difficulties led to the formation in 1896 of the Sedbergh New Gas Co Ltd which purchased the older undertaking. The gas works were at Castlehaw Lane. In 1949 the undertaking became part of the Kendal Group of the NWGB. This collection contains only legal records including a small bundle of title deeds. [1831 - 1897]
